The University of Minnesota Office for Public Engagement has released a beta version of a new interactive system that helps communicate the University’s public impact. The interactive webpage allows a user to search by location, University school or college, project type, community partner, or issue. Once the user has selected the filters, they can then click the dots that appear on the map for a description of the project. Submit your project, research, or program.

Kate Carlson of U-Spatial created the map. The interface allows users to contribute their own engagement projects to the map. A combination of cloud GIS software tools are used to collect and present the locations of the engagement activities: ArcGIS Survey123 and ArcGIS Online.
