Staff from the Minnesota Supercomputing Institute (MSI), the University of Minnesota Informatics Institute (UMII), and the University of Minnesota Genomics Center (UMGC) are performing an assessment of the differences between RNA sequencing data obtained from different sequencing instruments. The datasets are generated from the Illumina HiSeq and Illumina NovaSeq at UMGC. Dr. Tom Kono (MSI), Dr. Juan Abrahante (UMII), and Dr. John Garbe (UMGC) are involved in this project.

The graphic shows results of a test for significant differences across the sequencing instruments, with points in red showing genes that have more than two-fold change in expression with the sequencing instrument.
